deserves to be heard

I spent years in rooms where the most useful question never got asked. Not because nobody had one, but because asking it meant putting your name to it in front of your manager, your team, or three hundred colleagues on a video call. People went back to their desks with their best thinking still in their heads.

The best idea in a room is rarely the loudest one.

So Paul and I built something for our own meetings. Take the name off the question, let the room vote on what actually matters, and the agenda belongs to everybody rather than to whoever is most comfortable speaking first. It worked, people outside our organisation started asking to use it, and OpenFloor grew from there.

My ambition for it is simple. Tools like this have always been priced as though only large enterprises need them, which leaves the schools, charities, councils and small teams who would benefit most making do with a show of hands. I want OpenFloor to be genuinely affordable for any business or institution, whatever its size and whatever its budget, without quietly stripping out the features that make it worth using in the first place.

Every suggestion comes to my inbox and I read all of them. It would be a bit rich to build a platform about listening to the whole room and then not listen myself.
