Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of OpenFloor, a real-time anonymous Q&A, polls, and audience engagement platform. By creating an account or joining a session, you agree to these terms.

The service

OpenFloor lets presenters run live sessions in which an audience can submit questions, vote, and take part in polls, surveys, and quizzes, anonymously or signed in. Some features (moderation, custom branding, analytics, and higher usage limits) require a paid subscription.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to submit content that is abusive, harassing, unlawful, or infringes another person's rights. Session owners and moderators have access to moderation tools (approve, reject, hide, and block content) to help enforce this. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.

Content ownership

You retain ownership of the questions, answers, and responses you submit. By submitting content, you grant OpenFloor a licence to store, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing it on a presenter's display or in analytics).

Billing & subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details. You can cancel or change your plan at any time from your billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Availability

We aim to keep OpenFloor available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, OpenFloor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Termination

You may stop using OpenFloor at any time and request deletion of your account by contacting us at hello@openfloor.co. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
